The rising cost and frequent electricity shortages in many African countries present a tremendous opportunity, to learn from experts on selecting the best components or systems based on real measured performance rather than claimed performance. Cognizant of these deficiencies, HASD is poised to;

1.     Promote Renewable Energy Awareness: Increase awareness and understanding of renewable energy technologies among students in secondary schools, higher institutes of learning and the African community at large.

2.     Develop Green Entrepreneurs: Train a new generation of green entrepreneurs who can leverage renewable energy technologies to create sustainable business opportunities and contribute to the green economy.

 3. Enhance Environmental Education: We ensure youths and women empowerment. Integrate environmental education into school curricula through the establishment of energy clubs, encouraging students to study and address local environmental issues.

4.     Address Youth Unemployment: Provide youths with the skills and knowledge needed to create job opportunities in the renewable energy sector, thereby reducing youth unemployment rates.

5.     Foster Sustainable Development: Promote sustainable development pathways by educating youths on the importance of renewable energy and its role in mitigating climate change and environmental degradation.

6.     Encourage Practical Learning: Facilitate hands-on learning experiences through club activities that cover basic to advanced courses in renewable energy technologies, ensuring youths can apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings.

7.     Build a Green and Resilient Economy: Strengthen the capacity of communities to contribute to a green and resilient economy by enhancing their awareness and understanding of climate change, sustainable consumption, and production issues.

8.     Support Energy Security: Address the rising costs and frequent shortages of electricity in Africa by promoting renewable energy as a reliable and environmentally friendly alternative.

9.     Empower Future Generations: Ensure that future generations are equipped with the knowledge and skills to continue promoting and implementing sustainable energy solutions, thereby securing a cleaner and greener environment for all.
